Done

I'm kind of sad it's over. It was a great experience, writing a way too long song and boring everyone out of their seats. I liked my piece though, and I suppose that's all that really matters. The best part of the project though was hearing what everyone else had done. It was really cool and everything that was done was amazing. I loved it. When someone wasn't doing their best, we'd cheer really loud for them and had a fantastic time and enjoy all the learning and music everyone created. It was one of the best experiences in band I've had.

Finally!!!

I finally finished writing the piece!! I'm so happy that I'm done with all of that work. I have to give a special thanks to my sister who wrote the left hand up on noteflight. The cool thing about that website is that it can play what you've written and my piece was a lot better than I thought it would be. I thought it sounded fantastic and I'm really excited to start playing it and then record. Another thanks to my sister. She's going to be the one playing the piano with me. I can't wait to see how good it sounds!!!

Piano

Adding the piano part is a pain. I had earlier tried making up random chords that sounded good but apparently didn't work. I had no idea of what scale or chord that should use and that fit with the note it was playing with. Thankfully, my flute teacher plays the piano and figured out that that was what my problem was. So, after an hour and a half of working on that in band, I officialy wrote two lines and a measure. I'm hoping it sounds good so I don't have to workshop the right hand as well. I think it will be fine but I should and will prepare myself for having to work on both.
